Should Man Utd give up on Van Gaal and go for Guardiola?
The Dutchman's contract runs until the summer of 2017, but the Old Trafford club are rumoured to be stepping up their pursuit of the Bayern Munich boss
Manchester United's elimination from Europe's top club competition at the hands of Wolfsburg was compounded by a defeat away at Bournemouth on Saturday, leaving Louis van Gaal's side without a win in five games.

That run of results has piled the pressure on Van Gaal, and the rumours linking United with Pep Guardiola refuse to go away.

United have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Guardiola in the hopes of beating rivals Manchester City to the punch to lure the Bayern Munich boss to the Premier League.

Van Gaal's contract runs until the end of the 2016-17 season, at which point the Dutchman plans to retire, but by then United may well have missed out on Guardiola.

Should United end the Dutchman's stay at Old Trafford at the end of the season and pull out all the stops for Guardiola?
