The emotion of the 57-year old musician overwhelmed her such that she broke down after paying tribute to the singer with his hit song Rebel Rebel during her Rebel Heart Concert in Houston, Texas. In her emotional tribute she said that she was devastated by the singer’s death. She also talked about how he had changed her life.
The pop icon had come under criticism by her fans who slammed her for promoting her Rebel Heart tour whilst paying tribute to Bowie.
David Bowie died two days after his 69th birthday after an 18-month battle with liver cancer. He released his 25th album, Blackstar, on January 8, which was his birthday.
