Mark Zuckerberg announced that over 2 billion users log on to Facebook every month.
This means more than a quarter of the world's population is now on Facebook.
No other Internet company has ever crossed this milestone.
Zuckerberg believes he has more work to do. "What we really care about is being able to connect everyone. So two billion, there wasn't as much fanfare around it," he said. "We still haven't connected everyone."
