American rapper, Drake, on Monday evening in New York City stepped out to host the 2017 NBA Awards, but instead of walking the red carpet solo, one stunning lady stood by his side.
US based Nigerian NBC Sports reporter Rosalyn “Ros” Gold-Onwude as his date for the inaugural event, which honors the best of the best in basketball.
Dressed in a classic tux, Drake wrapped his arm around Ros as they posed for a few absolutely adorable photo opps. The fan-favorite sports analyst looked gorgeous in a red midi-dress and nude heels.
The above photo of them in black was in 2015 when Rosalyn first made an appearance on Drake’s Instagram, after his home team (the Toronto Raptors) lost to the Golden State Warriors. Rosalyn was the broadcaster for the game, and after it ended, posed with Drake for a photo which the rapper quickly shared on his Instagram.
Seeing the pair together was all that Twitter needed to lose its mind.
Rosalyn sparked relationship rumours with Singer Jidenna after they attended the 2016 BET Awards together!

Beyonce leads the pack this year with seven nominations, including Video of the Year, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Album of the Year, Best Collaboration (with Kendrick Lamar for “Freedom” and
DJ Khaled and JAY-Z for “Shining"), Viewers Choice Award, and Video Director of the Year nomination for her “Sorry” video with Kahlil Joseph .
Following close behind are Bruno Mars with five nods, and then Chance the Rapper, Solange, and Migos tied at four a piece.
The BET Awards not only honor music - the show also gives out awards for Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Movie, and awards for athletes.
The 2017 BET Awards air live TONIGHT, June 25 at 8 p.m. from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Allow him to reintroduce himself again!!!. Jay Z is changing his name to … JAY-Z. The rapper whose real name is Shawn Carter is updating the way he stylizes his famed moniker by adding a hyphen and spelling it out in all capital letters.
The name change, which his rep confirmed to the Daily News, will be used on his recently announced and highly anticipated new album, “4:44,” which comes out on his streaming service Tidal on June 30.
The hip-hop mogul’s spokesperson didn’t have a comment for why JAY-Z decided to make the name change, but it’s not the first time he’s altered his title.
He originally went by Jay-Z (lower case letters with a hyphen) before ditching the hyphen after he came out with his most recent album to date, “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” in 2013.
Only adding to the confusion is that JAY-Z promoted his new album on Twitter this week by stylizing his name JAY:Z to match up with the “4:44” title.

Undoubtedly two of the biggest names in the Nigerian music scene, Olamide & Davido have united once again on a new single.
The duo have come to represent the new sound of Nigerian music as they started right from nothing, where there was no structure, they built one and established their hold.
The pair met up in Miami where they are recording the single as well as shooting a video for it. Although the title is not yet known, it is sure going to be eagerly awaited by fans of both acts.
Recall that one of the most anticipated track off Olamide’s YBNL album, titled Panumo, featured the HKN money bag Davido, a song which turned out to be a hit.

Nigerian rappers, Vector and Yung6ix have announce that they will be putting Nigeria on the map with their 13 hours rap music.

According to them, they’ve been practicing, as they also disclosed that 8 Nigerian hip-hop artiste will be joining them for the world record fiesta.

Young Thug is the latest rapper to claim he is the “new Pac.”

On Tupac Shakur’s birthday (June 16), Thugger released his latest album, Beautiful Thugger Girls. And according to Jeffery, that wasn’t a coincidence.


Jeffery isn’t the only rapper to compare himself to the late Rock & Roll Hall of Famer. This year, Troy Ave released his Nupac LP, which was based on how he feels like the “new Pac.” Boosie Badazz also claimed that his next album would be called BooPac because he feels like his “generation’s Tupac.”

The comparisons have been wide-ranging over the years. For instance, Lil Wayne proclaimed himself the “New Pac” back in 2013, as well. Meanwhile, Lil Durk, who’s compared himself to Tupac in the past, also recently claimed that Future is the “modern day Tupac.”

Tupac Shakur died 21 years ago in an unsolved crime. He would have turned 46 on Friday (June 16), when All Eyez On Me hit theaters.
