IK Ogbonna’s wife, Sonia, is a year older today and he has reached out to her in a public show of love and appreciation.

He took to Instagram today, January 19, and talked about how she believes in him and how much he loves her for being the ideal partner.
“You believe in me a billion times more than I believe in myself. You are my best friend, my wife… and most of all my soul mate,” a part of the message read.
The pair appear to be having a swell time in their union.
Recall that they met on Instagram a few years ago and exchanged contact details after which their romance blossomed, leading to marriage.
In an interview with Encomium magazine, Sonia once said of their relationship and how it all started:
“We [had] one mutual amazing friend, a girl called Oma. She was just too sure that me and IK would make one perfect match. She introduced him to my Instagram page, then he did the rest of the work. He asked for my BBM pin, next thing he got me on my phone 24/7. If somebody had told me, I would not have believed. I guess life is full of surprises. Sometimes all we got to do is to follow our intuition. I got to discover a male version of me! It feels too right.”
Sonia is of Colombian descent, speaks a number of languages fluently and studied Social Policy at the University of Belgrade, Serbia.
